The Hemet High School Site Council is seeking nominations for TWO (2) Parent/Community Members. Listed below are the duties, meeting times and how to put in a nomination. Once we have a slate of nominees, ballots will be online via a link and via paper ballot. Nominations close on Friday, September 14, 2012.

• review of the proposed Single Plan for Student Achievement from all school advisory committees. Review and approve the school Safety Plan.
• Develop and approve the plan and related expenditures in accordance with all state and federal laws and regulations.
• Annually (and at each semester, trimester, etc,) evaluate the progress made toward school goals to raise the academic achievement of all students.
• Carry out all other duties assigned to the school site council by the district governing board and by state law.

Meetings are on Thursdays 2:45 pm, Location TBD - approximately 1-2 hours
This year’s schedule of meetings are:October 4, 2012, December 6, 2012, February 7, 2013 .May 16, 2013
There may be one more meeting if there is any matter requiring a vote.
