Hemet High shows school spirit as well as patriotism for the good ol’ US of A!
Today, September 10, 2012, Hemet High school paused for a moment of silence and remembrance of 9/11, eleven years ago. During the morning announcements, students and staff were asked to stop everything for a moment and to think and reflect.
Being this is homecoming week, today was also “show your patriotism” day where students dressed up in Red, White and Blue or wore something supporting our great nation. During third period, students were asked to be photographed showing their colors. So many students participated, many photographs had to be taken. Here they are:
