Caned Food Drive

Our local Cal Fire, located on Stetson, is trying to collect enough non-perishable food items to feed about twenty plus families for the Thanksgiving holiday.  My Class of 2017 officers have agreed to assist with this project by having some incentives for students to bring items to your classroom.  For every four items they bring to you, the student will receive a card for a free Slushee at the "NEW" Student Store after school.  Items must be current dated and non-perishable (canned items, noodles, rice, beans, dry mashed potatoes, etc).  Please keep track of the students that do bring in items and my officers will pick-up items when you send an e-mail and drop-off needed Slushee cards.

For each Slushee card used in the "NEW" Student Store, the student will be entered into a drawing for a gift card of their choice.  There is "NO" limit to the number of Slushee cards the student can earn, but the "Canned Food Drive" does end on Wednesday, November 13th.  Our "Winter Canned Food Drive" will have class competition between teachers collecting all day and between teachers only collecting period one.  The dates of this drive are Monday, December 2nd to Friday, December 13th.

Thank you,

Al Fernandes
