Hemet, February 9, 2015:
The monthly “Hemet/San Jacinto Student of the Month” recognition event took place on January 29, 2015 to
reward and inspire academic excellence in our community through Hemet and San Jacinto valley high school
seniors.
The following Hemet USD and San Jacinto USD students were recognized at the monthly breakfast event held
at The Anchor Restaurant in Hemet:

Dignitaries, Sponsors, School Administrators, and Student of the Month Committee members attended along
with High School Principals, nominating teachers, parents and guests of the High School seniors.
The mission of the program is to bring the community together to honor and praise our valley high school
seniors for demonstrating character, integrity, a love of learning, involvement in school activities, athletics, and
community service, or the ability to overcome challenging life circumstances without compromising their
education. The “heartbeat” of the “Student of the Month” is one who makes a difference in their home, school
and community. The students are college or trade school bound.
