Registration for fall classes

Hemet High School registration for the 2018-19 school year has completed with approximately 510 freshmen; 480 sophomores; 437 juniors; 431 seniors; and about 300 make-ups. Registration began on August 1st and ended on August 3, 2018. There are currently 2,500 students enrolled.

Link Crew members have also been at the school training and getting ready for the Freshmen to come in for their orientation on Monday, August 6th, morning.

All levels of football are beginning to practice as well as the girls volleyball teams. The cross country teams have been running when they can avoid the triple digit temperatures and girls tennis will be starting up soon.

The senior officers and others have prepared this year’s senior walk and our cheerleaders have been hard at work at their camp preparing for the upcoming seasons.

Director of Band, Mr. Boulton, held a Jazz Camp for about 40 students from Hemet High School and feeder schools concluding with a short concert on Friday afternoon, August 3, 2018.

With the number of students registering on their assigned days, the first day looks to be challenging to get the rest of the students registered, photo ID, and class schedule. However, the staff is processing students as quickly as possible and they anticipate that there will be very few delays during the first part of the week.

The faculty returns to school on Wednesday, August 7th and the students come back to school on Monday, August 13th to pick up their official class schedules and head out to their first period class to see their welcome video and more.

We ALL are looking forward to another GREAT year at Hemet High School.
